Gates was incredibly helpful through the entire process of buying a home! He helped find options for me to look at, and quickly set up viewings on any properties I sent him that I was interested in. As we looked at more homes together he caught on pretty quickly on things I did an didn't like, which he was able to point out at different properties we looked at. He was incredibly knowledgeable about different aspects to consider when buying, like road noise, neighborhoods, age of HVAC systems, types of plumbing/electrical, as well as resale factors to consider in the future. I must have asked him a million questions over the entire buying process, which he easily answered, or quickly got answers to if he wasn't 100% sure. I'm very grateful for his expertise while writing offers. He was able to guide me through the whole process with very simple, clear explanations. Its an insane market currently, and Gates was able to advise, based off how many offers were on a home and other factors, what a good offer was. I believe every suggestion/opinion he gave me on what it would sell for was within 10k of what it actually sold for (which was incredibly imressive when people are bidding 100k over asking on many properties right now) Most importantly, all of his guidance made sure I was comfortable within my budget and with the home I was bidding for. I felt confident in every offer we made, never feeling pressure to go for something that wasn't the right fit or over my budget, all while having all the offers completed quick and efficiently. Buying a property I always found realtors useless until I met Gates. As an investor Gates worked with me, actually listened to what I was looking for, and found me what I was looking for - multiple times. He worked to find creative deals that helped me get into investments with less capital which allowed to get more investments. He worked - not to secure his commission but to ensure the deals made sense and even when could have closed if he felt we could do better he advised me as such and saved me thousands upon thousands of dollars. After deals had closed and he had already been paid - if I needed something he would work to get it for me. Absolutely recommend Gates as a realtor who actually works for you
